Silent Directed Retreat

You are invited to come away and rest.

“‘Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.’

For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.” (Mark 6:31)

Time: Friday, April 21@ 3 p.m. through Sunday, April 23 @ 2 p.m.

Spiritual Director: Tongua Williams, founder of Soul Care Sanctuary

Venue: Hesychia House of Prayer 204 St. Scholastica Road, New Blaine, AR 72851

A silent directed retreat is a weekend of rest, an intentional pause to slow down and listen to the Holy. Sacred silence helps us listen to the voice of Love in the midst of a busy life. Prayer is a relationship, and this directed retreat is an extended time for you to be attentive to, connect with, and bask in the love and relationship of your Creator in an unhurried, supported, and relaxed environment.

You will have the opportunity to meet with a trained, trauma-sensitive Ignatian spiritual director to

discuss what is stirring within you, in your prayer time, in your life, and in your relationship with God. You will experience the restful and encouraging presence and support of others praying silently alongside you in an environment that has been bathed in prayer for nearly 150 years.
